Description
Argyle Salem Sump Tube with Anti-Reflux Valve
A nasogastric tube (NGT) is a tube that passes through the nose and into the stomach, used to remove gastric contents or to give fluids and nutrition. A nasogastric sump tube (NGST) is a type of NGT that has a small reservoir (sump) near the tip, which can be used to collect gastric secretions. The NGST can be used to measure gastric pH and to monitor gastric emptying.
