BD 368656 Vacutainer Push Button Blood Collection Sets 23 Gauge x 3/4″ with 12″ Tubing are designed to be used with BD Vacutainer Blood Collection Tubes. The sets have a push button that is used to release the vacuum in the tubes, making it easy to collect blood. The sets come with 12″ of tubing and are available in a variety of gauges. BD 368656 Vacutainer Push Button Blood Collection Sets are designed to work with BD Vacutainer blood collection tubes. The sets include a clear plastic holder and a push button luer adapter. The holder has a hole in the center that allows the luer adapter to be inserted. When the button on the luer adapter is pushed, the adapter is released from the holder. This allows the blood to be drawn into the tube.
The BD 368656 Vacutainer Push Button Blood Collection Sets was created to prevent needlestick injuries amongst healthcare workers. This system is the only blood collection device with push button technology. It is available with a preattached holder for added convenience and to help meet the Occupational Health and Safety Administration’s (OSHA) single-use standards.
