Medefil 10% Calcium Chloride Injection Prefilled Syringes 1000 mg/10 mL (100 mg/mL). Calcium chloride injection is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for intravenous, intramuscular, and subcutaneous administration. Each milliliter (mL) of calcium chloride injection contains 10 mg of calcium chloride tetrahydrate (CaCl2•4H2O) in Water for Injection. The pH is 6.5 (5.5 to 7.5). The osmolarity is 290 mOsmol/L (calculated).

Calcium chloride injection should not be used to treat cardiac arrest or circulatory collapse.
