Description
I-gel Supraglottic Airway Adult Use
The I-gel Supraglottic Airway for Adult use is a single use device that is inserted into the mouth and sits on top of the larynx, or voice box. The I-gel forms a seal around the glottis, or opening to the larynx, and provides an airtight seal when inflated. This allows for safe and effective ventilation with minimal risk of aspiration. The I-gel is made of soft, non-irritating silicone and is easily passed through the mouth and throat. It can be used for both adult and pediatric patients and can be inserted without the use of a laryngoscope.
