The I-gel Supraglottic Airway Neonate is a recently developed supraglottic airway device that is designed for use in neonates. The device has a number of unique features that make it suitable for use in this population, including a small size, a soft and flexible body, and a suction connector that allows for aspiration of gastric contents. The I-gel Supraglottic Airway Neonate is also latex free, which is important in neonates who are at risk for latex allergy. In studies of the device, the I-gel Supraglottic Airway Neonate was found to be easy to use and was well tolerated by neonates.
