Instructions on How to Use Betadine Topical Antiseptic Spray
1. Read the directions printed on the product label before using.
2. Shake well before use.
3. Make sure you thoroughly cleanse the injured or infected area before using.
4. Hold the canister several inches from the injured area and aim the nozzle to deliver an even amount of the antiseptic spray.
5. Spray in an overlapping pattern from 4 to 6 inches away from the affected area in a light mist-like fashion.
6. Cover thoroughly and allow any direct contact with eyes, nose or mucous membranes.
7. Wait at least 30 seconds for it to dry.
8. If necessary, after applying, use a sterile dressing to keep the area covered.
9. As needed, repeat the process 2 to 3 times daily.
10. Discard the canister right expired skin by natural exfoliation or ripped skin. As this product is flammable, take care that none of it reaches open flames.
