They contain active ingredients such as benzocaine and menthol that help numb the throat and reduce coughing. They also have a wild cherry flavor to help soothe the throat. These lozenges can be used by adults and children 6 years and older. They should not be used for more than 2 days for sore throat or 7 days for cough, unless directed by a doctor.
