Distinguishing Benefits:
- ♦ Unlike other more traditional scales where the user had to stand still and couldn’t hang onto anything for stability in order to get accurate weight measurements, this innovative stand-on scale uses motion-sensing weighing technology to determine the actual weight of a moving patient
- ♦ Offers enhanced safety (especially in comparison to other more traditional scales) with wrap-around handrails that provides patients with a sturdy rail they can hold onto for stability while caregivers obtain their weight
- ♦ Enables patients to be weighed while still using the comfort and assistance of their wheelchair (or other objects), meaning there is less disruption to the patient. The tare function of this unit can automatically subtract the weight of objects to determine the actual weight of the patient
- ♦ Features a convenient swivel display head that can rotate up to 180°, which provides patient privacy and enables operators to easily view and use the control panel from either side of the scale
- ♦ Provides users with the option of using the AC power adapter or 6 AA batteries to power the unit, meaning this scale can still be used in places where there isn’t convenient access to a power outlet
