Operating the Jamar Hand Dynamometer
- – Set the adjustable handle to the correct position
- – Rotate the peak-hold needle counter-clockwise to 0
- – Squeeze with maximum strength
- – Record the reading and reset the peak-hold needle to 0
Jamar Hand Dynamometer Care and Service
Posts
- Remove the adjustable handle and check for free movement of the posts.
- Grease the two guides at least once per year
Hydraulics
- Remove the adjustable handle
- Push on the bottom post while watching the top post, both should move about 1/8 inch in opposite directions
