Description
Lopez Enteral Feeding Valve
Bard Lopez valve for feeding tubes is a device used for feeding, medicating, and irrigating patients through a nasogastric tube (NG tube). This dual-lumen NG tube is designed to prevent damage to the gastric tissue and is used to suction air and fluid from the stomach. The 2-way anti-reflux filter allows for decompression of the stomach and the Lopez valve for a feeding tube maintains the integrity of a closed system while enabling easy sampling. With the anti-reflux filter on the Lopez valve for a feeding tube, clinicians are able to view gastric secretions in the vent lumen so they can take proper action.
