Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray 0.4 mg, 60 Metered Spray Bottle 4.9 gm (Rx)
Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray is used for the relief of an acute attack of angina pectoris. Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray is a nitrate and is used to open up the blood vessels in the heart. The usual recommended starting dose is two sprays of 0.4 mg (0.8 mg/spray) one or two times a day. The dose should not exceed 3 sprays in any 24-hour period.
Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray helps to prevent chest pain by improving blood flow to the heart. Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray works best if you use it 5 to 10 minutes before you expect to have an attack of angina. You may need to use a second dose if the first dose does not relieve your symptoms.
Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray is for people with angina. Do not use Nitrolingual Nitroglycerin Pump Spray if you have heart failure, low blood pressure, or are allergic to nitrates.
Allegis Pharmaceuticals NitrolingualĀ® Pump spray is designed with ease of use in mind. A simple push of the grooved button provides consistent dosing with each spray onto or under the tongue. One spray of NitrolingualĀ® Pumpspray onto or under the tongue provides you with a dose of 0.4 mg of nitroglycerin. Before using NitrolingualĀ® Pumpspray for the first time, the pump must be sprayed five times into the air (this is known as priming). The pump should be primed every six weeks to remain ready for use. If the product has not been used for six weeks, a prime of one spray is necessary.
