Surgical Polysorb Coated Synthetic Absorbable Sutures are composed of Lactomer, which is synthetic polyester, composed of glycolide and lactide. The advanced extrusion process Lactomer provides excellent strength over the critical wound healing period. The sutures offer excellent knot security and handling. Indicated for use in soft tissue approximation or ligation and ophthalmic surgery, but not in cardiovascular or neural tissue.
