Description
Versiva XC Adhesive Foam Dressing
Versiva XC is a sterile, adhesive foam composite dressing consisting of a skin-friendly adhesive, a central layer with Hydrofiber technology, a fluid-spreading layer and a top layer of polyurethane foam film. The inclusion of the Hydrofiber technology into a foam dressing allows Versiva to decrease the risk of maceration, keeping the periwound skin in better condition, cushion more effectively, maintaining an optimally moist environment to support wound healing and hold more fluid under compression.
Designed to be used on light to moderately exuding wounds or heavy exudate when used in conjunction with a primary dressing.
Indications:
For use on abrasions, lacerations, cuts, minor scalds and burns, leg ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, arterial ulcers, surgical wounds, donor sites, second degree burns, and traumatic wounds.
Contraindications:
Not for use on patients who may be allergic to the dressing or its components.
Application:
Cleanse the wound site with dermal cleanser and saline, and dry the periwound skin. Select the appropriate size dressing, remove backing, and place over wound. Do not use if packaging is damaged.
Removal:
Dressing is safe for use up to 7 days. Press down gently on the skin and carefully release the edges fully before removing dressing.
